Position: Bilingual Korean STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety Type: Contract Compensation: $63–$67/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 20+ hours/week Role Responsibilities Write expert-level prompts in Korean across specialized scientific topics. Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content. Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations. Collaborate with AI research teams to improve model outputs and ensure safety. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while enhancing AI model performance . Qualifications Must-Have PhD in chemistry , biology , or a closely related field. Native or near-native fluency in Korean , plus business-level written English . Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques. Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information. Preferred Based in South Korea or the wider East Asia region. Expertise in radiochemistry , nuclear chemistry , or related fields. Depth in a specific subfield like organic synthesis , molecular biology , or virology . Experience with chemical safety, biosafety, or hazardous-materials handling. Experience reviewing or grading technical content.
