Creative Project Manager

Format: full-time or part-time is also under consideration; fully onsite at client’s offices

We’re looking for a native Korean-speaking Project Manager with Copywriting and Transcreation skills to act as the key connector between the Korean market and regional/offshore creative teams – helping to bring structure to workflows, clarity to briefs, and stronger local relevance to the work being delivered. It is ideal for someone who can move comfortably between project management, stakeholder coordination, account management, copywriting and transcreation, while bringing a sharp local lens to the creative process.

You’ll help ensure that work is not only delivered on time, but also lands well in market — with the right language, tone, cultural nuance, and consumer relevance.

Market Liaison & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact between the South Korea market and the regional/offshore creative teams.
• Facilitate clear, proactive communication and constructive feedback loops across local, regional, and offshore stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout project delivery.
• Manage expectations, close communication gaps quickly, and help ensure the work reflects both business priorities and local market realities.
• Surface blockers early and help local teams feel understood, supported, and represented.

Briefing, Copywriting & Transcreation

• Interpret, translate, and transcreate briefs, feedback, revisions, and creative direction between Korean- and English-speaking stakeholders.
• Support copy, messaging, campaign adaptation, and creative recommendations where needed to ensure outputs feel natural, relevant, premium, and culturally appropriate in Korean.
• Help translate global and regional direction into clear, usable Korean market context by bringing local nuance, cultural sensitivities, and local consumer relevance, not just language correction.
• Bridge the cultural context gap between the local and the offshore creative teams by helping them understand why something will or will not work in market.

Project Management & Creative Quality Control

• Coordinate project timelines, priorities, dependencies, and deliverables in partnership with offshore project management and creative teams.
• Monitor progress closely, flag risks early, and help unblock issues on the ground before they affect delivery.
• Review creative outputs before they are shared with market stakeholders, ensuring they align with the brief, brand guidelines, and local expectations.
• Provide informed, constructive feedback to strengthen creative quality and improve the effectiveness of the final work.

About You

• You have strong experience with copywriting, transcreation and project managment in a creative, advertising, production, or integrated agency environment as an account manager or a project manager.
• You bring proven project and account management experience, alongside the ability to keep workflows moving smoothly across local, regional, and offshore teams.
• You are native or fluent in Korean, with strong written and spoken English, and are comfortable working across both languages day-to-day.
• You have hands-on experience in copywriting, translation, and transcreation, and understand the difference between direct translation and adapting work so it lands in-market properly.
• You can interpret creative work with a strong local lens and provide clear, informed feedback on language, tone, cultural nuance, and consumer relevance.
• You bring strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills, and know how to operate calmly in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.
• Experience in alcohol, FMCG, luxury, or premium consumer brands would be highly valuable, as would exposure to regional or global matrix organisations.
• Familiarity with creative production, content adaptation, localisation processes, and digital/social/integrated marketing channels would make you especially well-suited to this role.
