Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and manage end-to-end ocean export operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipment execution.
• Lead daily export activities, including booking, documentation, shipment tracking, and customer service.
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, overseas offices, and internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.
• Oversee hazardous cargo (DG) shipments in compliance with relevant regulations and carrier requirements.
• Monitor operational performance, resolve service issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Support process improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to company SOPs and compliance standards.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

Exemption Type Exempt (Salaried) Job Requirements

Qualifications
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Ocean Export Operations.
• Proven experience supervising or leading export operations teams.
• Strong knowledge of ocean freight, export documentation, customs-related processes, and international shipping regulations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in U.S. Ocean Export Operations preferred.
• Experience handling Dangerous Goods (DG) cargo preferred.
• Experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC, or third-party logistics (3PL) environments.
• Business-level English communication skills.
