Hauptaufgaben

Performs the full range of overhaul and repair work on chassis group units of one or more types of vehicles powered by internal combustion engines, or tactical use such as passenger cars, trucks, forklift trucks and warehouse tractors, jeeps, multi-wheel vehicles with automatic transmissions and auxiliary equipment. Determines exact nature and extent of repairs required and performs major and minor overhaul and repair on engines, power transmissions, suspension, steering and braking systems and related electrical, fuel, hydraulic, wheel and engine assemblies. Make operational checks and adjustments as required. Uses specialized testing equipment such as compression testers, motor analyzers and test benches. Directs work of junior and helper mechanics as required.

주업무: 내연기관으로 구동되는 한 종류 이상의 차량 또는 승용차, 트럭, 지게차 및 창고 트랙터, 지프, 자동변속기 및 보조 장비가 장착된 다륜차와 같은 전술적 용도의 섀시 그룹 유닛에 대해 전체 범위의 점검 및 수리 작업을 수행합니다. 필요한 수리의 정확한 성격과 범위를 파악하고 엔진, 동력 변속기, 서스펜션, 조향 및 제동 시스템과 관련된 전기, 연료, 유압, 휠 및 엔진 어셈블리에 대해 크고 작은 점검 및 수리를 수행합니다. 필요에 따라 작동 점검 및 조정을 수행합니다. 필요 시 작동점검과 조정을 실시합니다. 압축시험기, 모우토 분해기 및 시험 진열대와 같은 특수 시험장비를 사용합니다. 필요 시 하급자나 조수에게 업무를 지시합니다. 기타 부여된 업무를 수행합니다.

Working Conditions: Works inside in a well-lighted and heated area; however, continually works on concrete floors and work is dirty, greasy and noisy. Subject to cuts, bruises, shocks, burns and mashed fingers. Work requires moderate to arduous physical effort.

작업조건: 조명과 난방이 잘된 옥내에서 작업하나, 계속 콘크리트 바닥에서 일하며, 작업장은 더럽고, 기름이 묻어있고 시끄럽습니다. 절상, 타박상, 감전, 화상 및 손가락의 부상을 입기 쉽습니다. 작업은 육체적으로 힘이 듭니다.
