Hauptaufgaben
Serves as Lead Supply Technician with responsibility for leading, directing, and working with a group of three or more workers engaged in the operation for the Storage Division. 1. Maintains the flow and quality of work to assure timely accomplishment of the assigned workload. Follows step-by-step work procedures provided. May suggest subject to the supervisors approval minor changes in workflow and priorities. Coordinates and expedites materiel support for the repair and modification of Army Materiel to include combat vehicles, construction equipment, tactical and special purpose vehicles, artillery weapons, small arms, optical instruments, electronic equipment, and fire control equipment, etc. Works in close coordination with the Shop Supply Section, SP #60 and 19TH Expeditionary Sustainment Command (ESC) for holding or earmarking of necessary materials for all major individual Maintenance Programs and job orders. Makes personal and/or telephone contacts to secure information and to expedite delivery of repair parts to various repair shops. Informs various shop supply offices in advance of materials requirements to permit timely acquisition. Reviews and analyzes line stopper reports to assure no administrative errors in the supply documentations, to determine the practicability of local fabrication, substitution, reclamation (cannibalization) or local procurement from an economic and support. Determines actual and potential production line stopper items to take aggressive follow-up action to supply activities for critical items. Initiates required actions through coordination with various maintenance shops foremen, shop supply personnel and other affecting activities for effective delivery of repair parts to production lines. Prepares and maintains file, log and flow charts to enable expeditious computation for the number of items in the Maintenance Program delayed due to lack of repair parts. Initiates Maintenance Production Line Stoppers, to include types and amount of critical items needed, status of supplies due-in and other supply status. 2. Assigns work not specifically assigned by higher level supervisors following a well-established workflow pattern and procedures. Assists or instructs other employees in specific tasks and job techniques. Provides written instructions or reference materials and answers questions regarding work. Provides technical advice and assistance in day-to-day operational control over supply clerical workforce in Supply Requirement Section, SP #60 and Shop Supply Sections in various a repair shops. Advises in the resolution of problems concerning supply forecasting, requisitioning procedures, maintenance parts consumption data, handling potential and actual line stopper items, methods for processing supply documents, etc. Attend weekly line stopper meeting to advise repair parts status to maintenance shop foremen. Provide guidance to subordinates for control bench stock items and reconciliation with SP #60 also technical support Lean Six Sigma project for maintenance shops. 3. May check work in progress or on completion for compliance with instructions, is alert for ways to reduce costs, stresses economy, refers to supervisor ideas for possible reduction of costs, corrects work deficiencies or calls to attention of a supervisor. Manage and control in connection with requisitions, receipts, issues, turn-ins, inventories, expedite actions for exercise requirement parts and requirement repair parts for repair and return cyclic repair program for APS-4 Work Orders. Coordinates with various maintenance shop personnel and APS-4 parts managers. 4. Requests, receives, issues and makes plan for combustible gases as Contractor of Representative (COR), USAMSC-K. Coordinate with various maintenance shop leaders, COR 19th ESC, and Contractor Command Korea (CCK) contractor for smooth support. Edits, catalog build, review, check status and support critical line stopper items by Off-line request and Government Purchase Card (GPC) which cannot purchase through normal supply channels. 5. Orients new employees to the unit and determines working and seating arrangements. Initially discusses complaints of employees, may resolve very simple matters but usually refers to the supervisor. Informs subordinates of available services and welfare activities. Provides on-the-job training in accordance with established plans and practices. As requested by the supervisor, may make informal appraisal of performance of employees. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifikationsanforderungen
1. This position has been designated as KN EMERGENCY-ESSENTIAL (MISSION ESSENTIAL). KN EE (ME) Position Agreement Form (USFK Form 200EK) must be signed prior to appointment of the selectee for this position. 2. Relocation Allowance will NOT be authorized for the selectee from outside the commuting area. 3. The employment age range for recruitment and placement is 18 to 61.
