Adhesive Application Engineer for Automotive Components Applications (e-Mobility or ADAS)

About this Position

This position works closely with the business team by providing technical support for e-Mobility applications (especially EV batteries) or ADAS applications through intensive communication with regional/global teams and customers.

What you´ll do

• Technically lead the development and commercialization of products by validating products, optimizing application processes, and troubleshooting to resolve issues. Directly interact with customers and communicate internally across functions for all related activities.
  
• Solve technology-specific fundamental problems associated with sold products through novel approaches to application process development, troubleshooting, and material characterization using analytical instruments.
  
• Take responsibility for root cause analysis, technical testing, lab operations, reporting, and leading customer and internal technical projects.

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Material Science, or other related fields is required.
  
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the following areas is strongly preferred.; 1) EV battery pack, module, or cell manufacturing companies, 2) EV battery application solutions involving TIM, functional coating or debonding, 3) ADAS manufacturer of camera module, lidar or radar, 4) camera module applications or PCB applications with active alignment bonding, electrical conductive adhesive, underfill, or conformal coating
  
• Good understanding of the automotive e-mobility or ADAS industry (including relevant customers and technical requirements) is required.
  
• Native in Korean and intermediate level in English are required.
  
• Strong data analysis, time management, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  
• Team collaboration, ability to work independently on multiple tasks, strong ownership, customer focus, and commitment to quality
