Commercial Finance Director - Korea
We have been retained by this amazing International Company to find them a forward-thinking Commercial Finance Director in Korea – they have huge expansion plans across the region and globally. Must be fluent in English & Korean languages.
We are looking for a Commercial Finance Director to partner with and support the executive team to deliver on this he expansion and growth plan. This role will report to the Chief Financial Officer but will have a strong daily working relationship with the broader executive team.
This role is a permanent, full-time position based out of Seoul, South Korea.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills we require from you :
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Must be a fluent English & Korean speaker
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within a commercial environment.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Experience in developing and implementing successful business growth strategies that align with the corporate aims of the business.
- A deep understanding of business operations, finances, sales and marketing tactics and market conditions.
- Demonstrated experience in business partnering with executive teams and influencing strategic decisions.
- Experience in contract negotiation and management.
- In-depth knowledge of the hospitality sector, financial regulations and compliance requirements in South Korea.
- Strong attention to detail, achievement orientation, organisational and leadership ability to guide the business to achieve business goals.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to enable them to work collaboratively with key shareholders, both within the business and externally.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
