We are looking for a highly organized and analytical individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Business Partner for North Asia key markets (South Korea and Japan).
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory levels, forecasting demand, ensuring the efficient flow of products through the supply chain, and coordination with key distributors for operational concerns.
Additionally, the candidate will actively engage in Sales and Operations Review (S&OP) key meetings to align cross-functional teams and drive overall business success.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning :
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business strategies.
Collaborate with sales, marketing & e-commerce, and production teams to gather relevant information for demand planning.
Conduct regular analysis of forecast accuracy and adjust model as needed.
Supply Planning :
Coordinate with supply site to ensure availability of supplies to support demand.
Monitor inventory levels and production schedules to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.
Identify potential supply chain risks and partner with Supply Center and cross-functional stakeholders to mitigate risks.
Collaboration and Communication :
Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, customer service & logistics, and distributors.
Provide regular updates on demand and supply trends, potential issues, and recommendations for improvement.
Data Analysis :
Utilize statistical modeling and analysis tools to enhance forecasting accuracy.
Analyze historical sales data and market trends to identify patterns and potential opportunities.
Continuous Improvement :
Work with SC Manager to identify areas for process improvement on demand and supply planning, and other operational aspects in Korea & Japan.
Partner with cross-functional team in Implementing standardized and agreed best practices and ways of working.
