We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Country Marketing Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives in South Korea. As the strategic leader for the Korean market, you will be critical in accelerating the new user's growth and awareness boost. Your innovative approaches and leadership will be key to our success in this vibrant market.
Reporting to the Regional Marketing Director, you will partner closely with Global Marketing and Product teams in Pittsburgh, New York, and other Country Marketing Managers around the world to find opportunities and come up with new, creative tactics and campaigns relevant to the Korean market.
You Will...
- Lead the strategy to drive fast new user growth in Korea
- Identify key growth levers, including but not limited to social media, influencers, PR, celebrity, TV, partnerships, entertainment shows, etc.
- Externally, you can hire agencies or contractors to deliver successful marketing initiatives. You'll also represent Duolingo as the local spokesperson, securing and managing speaking opportunities.
- Internally, you'll work closely with key stakeholders to secure resources, communicate progress, ensure alignment, and share growth results.
You Have...
Proven track record of driving rapid user growth in the Korean market.Experience in successfully scaling international brands in KoreaDeep understanding of local media landscape and cultural nuances.Full funnel marketing experience, including social media, influencers, PR, partnerships, TV, entertainment shows, etc.Result-driven mentality, turning the strategies into actionable plans.Strong leadership skills with experience managing external agenciesExcellent communication skills to act as a spokesperson and ambassador for Duolingo.Requirements :
