The Senior Principal Advanced Sourcing Engineer will be responsible to define and execute advanced sourcing strategy of new technologies to ensure profitability, sustainability and growth goals according to the divisional strategy with cross-functional collaboration within Procurement, Engineering, Customer Account Management, Manufacturing and Partners.

What You Will Do

• Define and execute advanced sourcing strategy of new technologies to ensure divisional growth, sustainability and profitability goals.
• Achieve profitability by ensuring best initial system cost by analyzing market needs, partner opportunities and define technology sourcing roadmap.
• Leading collaboration with Procurement & BCA teams during the new business quoting phase for new technologies
• Subject Matter Expert SME) driving investigations on required new technologies and partners to provide complete assessment to the Advanced Engineering teams (Spaces, Platforms and future looking product strategies and RFxs)
• Lead the new technology & solution introduction by establishing and assessing new technology to meet cost & CO2e targets, ensure timing and technical requirements are met from the new partners.
• Responsible for the initial new supplier engagement (performance / cost) by technology, supply chain and competitiveness review
• Develop product base competitive analysis report thru market intelligence activities.
• Generate synergy project with Samsung and develop the execution plan with the team.
