As a Geo Marketing Manager – Korea on the Global Marketing team based in our Seoul office, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the marketing and growth targets for the region. Taboola’s Korea team is a dynamic and fast-paced unit of the business. We have exclusive and long-term partnerships with leading publishers including The Chosun, The JoongAng, Maekyung Media Group, and our advertisers include major brand names like Samsung, LG, Hyundai Motor Group, Kakao Pay.
Hence, we are looking for a smart and driven Geo Marketing Manager – Korea to fulfill this full-time position sitting within the APAC Marketing Team. It requires the candidate to collaborate with different teams including the Korea Sales team, Marketing Operations, Content Marketing, Design and others to execute marketing plans aimed at driving business growth in the region. This role will allow you the creativity and flexibility to find new ways to accelerate Taboola’s growth, as well as your own.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need :
- Bilingual, native or fluent Korean and English speaker
- 5+ years of experience in owning and leading marketing strategies in a B2B company
- Thorough understanding of various offline and online marketing channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English
- Creative self-starter and solution-oriented problem solver
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once
- A team player and comfortable to work with a high degree of autonomy in an ever-changing startup-like environment
- Experience in event management
- Comfortable working with remote, international teams

Collaborate with Sales leadership to develop the marketing strategy & plan for Korea on a quarterly basis, to drive regional business growth and maximize both immediate and long-term ROIBuild and manage the marketing budget for Korea, finding resourceful ways to optimize impact on a budgetSupport with the creation and execution of data-based marketing strategies to drive regional business growth and maximize immediate and long-term ROIOwn sponsored (e.g. Digital Marketing Summit) and hosted (e.g. Masterclasses) events, from coordinating operations with different stakeholders, and managing our presence to creating impactful content to drive leads and build awarenessPlan and execute customer retention activities including client entertainment events and giftingTranslate activities into meaningful data and reports using various platforms and tools, like Salesforce and QlikSenseDrive PR and communication efforts in collaboration with our PR agency, including turning Taboola’s data into compelling stories for press pick-upLocalise global content into Korean independently or by working closely with external agencies to fit the needs of the marketCollaborate effectively together with multiple stakeholders from Sales, Account Management and Marketing to understand business goals and execute on marketing objectives in a timely mannerDevelop and maintain a deep understanding of Taboola’s product positioning, core advantage and unique offering in order to best represent the company to different kinds of external audiences via different channels
