ROLI is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and refine innovative products, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to bring concepts to production.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Luminary ROLI, you will ensure a smooth transition from development to mass production. The role bridges our Hardware engineering and design teams, ensuring that products are functional, manufacturable, and efficient. You will work closely with manufacturing partners in Korea and report directly to the Director of Design Engineering.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to award-winning products, strengthen relationships with manufacturing partners, and advance best-practice manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities :
- Develop products from design concepts into a manufacturable design.
- Collaborate closely with our Engineering team and manufacturing partners to ensure feasible and cost-effective designs.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to manage ECN and build plans.
- Collaborate with the CS and QA team to track issues.
- Lead the DFM / DFA analysis of products, parts, and processes and create comprehensive reports and documentation.
- Provide technical expertise to manufacturers to resolve issues affecting output and quality.
- Revise and iterate designs based on testing results and stakeholder feedback.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Solidworks.
- Maintain CAD library and Engineering Change log for production.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Ensure thorough documentation of studies and design decisions.
